I'm Subhankar Das. I led design systems at PhonePe, India's leading fintech platform, where I built the system behind consumer experiences for 540M+ users. Before PhonePe, I spent five years as a design lead and director at Obvious, an award-winning product studio, working with clients like Google, Grab, Kotak Securities, and Wikimedia across India and Southeast Asia.
I'm now based in Germany and looking for my next role. I care most about the intersection of systems thinking and product craft — building the foundational layers that help teams ship better, faster. I have a background in computer science and a Masters in Human Centred Design.
