Delta - Changelog Generator
Automated changelogs for your Figma design tokens

Figma has no native changelog. When you publish a library update, tweaking a colour token, renaming a variable, adjusting a type style, there's no record of what changed, what it changed from, or what it changed to. For design system maintainers, that means writing release notes manually, or not writing them at all.
Delta fills that gap. Set a baseline, make changes as normal, then scan and export a structured changelog in one click. Added, Changed, Removed, with before and after values for every token and style. The output is clean Markdown, ready to paste into Slack, Jira, or Notion. Everything is stored inside the Figma file itself. No accounts, no API keys, zero config.
I built it because I'd lived the problem maintaining Mint, PhonePe's design system. Every release needed a changelog. The manual process was slow, inconsistent, and the first thing to slip under deadline pressure. Delta was also an excuse to build something real with AI, going from idea to shipped plugin, and learning where those tools genuinely help and where they don't.
